123rd Founders Day

 ANNUAL ECGMBA FOUNDERS DAY CELEBRATION AND WORSHIP SERVICE

Dear ECGMBA Pastors:
The Annual Founders Day Celebration and Worship Service of the East Cedar Grove Missionary Baptist Association of N.C. Inc. will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at New Red Mountain Missionary Baptist Church, 1401 Red Mountain Road, Rougemont, North Carolina.  The service will begin at 9:00 with registration beginning at 8:30 a.m. and the service ending with lunch.    The keynote speaker for the occasion is Dr. Nilous M. Avery II, President and Chair Executive Board of the General Baptist State Convention of North Carolina.   Additional highlights of the celebration include:  a Parade of Churches with Pastors and First Ladies, A Souvenir Program Booklet & History Presentation Profiling ECGMBA First Ladies, and inspirational preaching and speaking, teaching, singing, fellowshipping and fun!  Pastors or their designees are asked to be robed for the Parade of Churches.
On this occasion we are asking for a $20.00 donation from attendees that will cover the cost of the meal, program booklets, and other costs associated with the celebration. Please send donation for ticket by September 1, 2017.  To profile ECGMBA First Ladies, please send a photograph and a brief biographical profile of one to two paragraphs to Joyce Daye Clayton, preferably by email  at joycedc@aol.com or by U.S. mail at 1702 Milan Street, Durham, North Carolina 27704 by September 1, 2017.  The contact number is 919-682-9873.  
For the Program/Souvenir Booklet, we are asking each church to place an ad in the booklet.  Additionally, church auxiliaries and ministries are encouraged to place ads in the booklet.  Individual church members can participate by becoming sponsors and patrons and being listed in the publication.  The booklet will be distributed on Founders Day at the celebration.  Ads and names of sponsors and patrons are due by September 1, 20172017.  Ads are:  Full Page $100.00 and On Half Page (1/2) $50.00; Sponsors $20.00 and Patrons $10.00.   Send ads, patrons and sponsor funds to Joyce D. Clayton, 1702 Milan Street, Durham, North Carolina 27704.  Please see the attached Ad, Patron, Sponsor and Donation Form.
The color for the occasion is shades of green.  Please come, celebrate and let us worship together on September 16, 2017!  We thank you and look forward to seeing each of you!

Requests for Ads, Sponsors and Patrons for the Souvenir Program Booklet
We kindly ask each member church, ministries/auxiliaries, and individual members to participate in ECGMBA Annual Founders Day Celebration and Worship Service by placing an Ad in the Souvenir Program Booklet.  Souvenir booklets will be distributed at the Founders Day.  The costs of ads, sponsor sand patrons are listed below.  

Full Page Ad   $100.00

Half Page Ad   $  50.00

Sponsor    $  20.00

Patron  $  10.00 

 Ads, preferably, should be computer/camera ready and sent via email at joycedc@aol.com , if possible. Ads can also be sent by mail at 1702 Milan Street, Durham, NC  27704.  Make the check payable to ECGMBA and send to Rev. Joyce Daye Clayton at 1702 Milan Street, Durham, North Carolina 27704.
